March and first half of April

It's been awhile since we last posted, but we're not sorry about it because we've been having lots of fun.
We made Easter eggs with Aunt Adrianne on her visit out.

If you haven't heard, Adrianne (featured above) will be serving a mission in Santa Rosa, CA.

Caleb loves hanging out in the back of Dad's truck.

For spring break we had a great trip.  First we stayed overnight with Uncle Ted in TN.  Here's his new convertible.

He treated us to breakfast so we could get on our way to Atlanta, GA.  It was yummy.

In Atlanta we stayed with the Roses.  Pretty much BFF (and our kids are all pretty good friends too).  unfortunately we didn't get any pictures with our other friends, the Mildenhalls, and their cute baby, Clark.  But it was great to see you, Taylor!

before conference we walked around a pretty cool tree preserve.

beautiful birdie.

While in atlanta, we watched a session and had dinner at the Challis Palace with my dear friend Eliza and her fam.  They're pretty much awesome.  Their daughter Claire and Caleb (now affianced).

Eliza always has a shining, brilliant smile.

And then we made it to Myrtle Beach, SC.

For allison's birthday we visited the botanical gardens/zoo there.  highly recommended.

Ben gave allison the hat for her birthday.  very tasteful, and she can't wait to spend hours gardening in it.

we spent a lot of time at the beach.  it was just out the door of our hotel, so we were there whenever we could be.

you might have to look at this sideways, but it's okay because he's handsome no matter how you look at him.

here's another handsome guy.  he ate so much sand we're still cleaning it out of his diapers.  but everyone knows that eating sand is a rite of passage for toddlerhood, and gives you a head start on chest hair.

you know you want to pinch those soft thighs.

we all had our first jellyfish sightings at the beach.  poor guy is tuckered out.

Easter

handsome, handsome, handsome.  and the boys look pretty sharp too.

alex has a temper these days.  but the bowtie is sure cute.

and to wrap this up, this is a shot from yesterday.  Caleb loves pushing this toy around and lately he loves wearing his little monkey friend around his neck while he crawls around and plays.  So when the two came together it was pretty cute.

Cute pictures. Your kids are growing up so fast. Tell Adrianne congrats on her mission call. That's the same mission that Dan served in and he loved it.

I didn't know Adrianne is serving a mission. That's great! I think we may actually be living in the Santa Rosa mission. I'll have to ask Sam. If we aren't, Sam's uncle and cousin definitely are. I'll let them know to be on the lookout for a Sister Briggs.

So fun to see pictures of all the fun you were telling me about. Everyone looks happy and healthy. Hooray! Miss you!

So many beautiful pictures. It is so fun to watch your family grow up from afar. Let us know when you pass through Utah again.

I'm so glad you have this blog! It's great to see a little taste of your life.
I'm up late, so the kids are asleep but I promise to show them these pics in the morning.
Those are some really sweet photos!

Love,
Anna
